<aside> ⚠️ To use what3words, you’ll first need to add a what3words field to your checkout page or CRM. To do so you can use one of our existing plugins or the what3words API. You can take a look at these options and find out more information here.


How to place an order using what3words in Anchanto WMS:

  1. Navigate to the order placement form on the WMS 3.0 platform.
  2. After entering the shipping and billing address, locate the what3words field.
  3. Enter the what3words address in the correct format (e.g., word1.word2.word3).
  4. Note that the what3words field is optional, and orders can still be placed without entering any keywords.
  5. Submit the order.
  6. The what3words address keywords will be stored securely in the database.
  7. The keywords will be displayed on the order detail page, below the shipping address fields.
  8. The keywords will be sent to the carrier for generating accurate shipping labels.


How to place an offline order using what3words in Anchanto WMS:

  1. Access the offline order creation form in WMS 3.0.
  2. Fill in the necessary order details, including the shipping address.
  3. Locate the what3words field in the form.
  4. Enter three what3words address keywords in the correct format.
