Asendia’s e-PAQ Select service now accepts what3words addresses from retailers and passes it onto carriers in the Middle East. The last mile of a parcel’s journey is crucial, so using a 3 word address can help carriers deliver to specific building entrances and precise drop-off points.

<aside> ⚠️ To collect what3words addresses from your customers, you’ll first need to add a what3words address field to your checkout page or CRM. To do so you can use one of our existing plugins or the what3words API. You can take a look at these options and find out more information here.

what3words Integration Setup Guide

To include what3words addresses in your Asendia manifest, simply follow the steps below

Step 1

You need to ensure that you are on the latest version of our manifest or API (often referred to as the “79Field Manifest”). If you are on an older version please speak to your account manager who can support you with upgrading your integration.

If you are using Metapack to access Asendia, please notify your account manager as the data should flow automatically.

Step 2

You will need to include the what3words address in the specified field in the manifest, prefixed by ///. If you cannot do this, please do not worry as Asendia will update the data to include ///.

Step 3

Asendia will then pass the what3words address across to the delivery partner.

🗣️ Announce the Integration

Once you have enabled the what3words integration, use the imagery and copy on our Communications Hub to announce the partnership and educate your customers on the benefits of using what3words.
