Cab9 have integrated what3words into their passenger app, web booking app and call handling solution. Passengers can use a what3words address to specify a precise pickup and/or drop off point easily and quickly.
To ensure the best user experience, please ask your Cab9 account manager to add a placeholder text prompt into your web booker and passenger app so that passengers know they can use a what3words address.
what3words is integrated into the pickup and the drop off address fields to allow call handlers to accept a what3words address over the phone.
To help a customer discover their what3words address for pickup on phone bookings, you can send the uk.w3w.co link by selecting Command K and entering w3w.
what3words is available automatically within any Cab9 Passenger app and Web Booker. Customers can use a what3words address for both pickup and drop off.
We would recommend asking Cab9 to add placeholder text prompts to the search field i.e. “Search Address, Postcode or what3words…”

Once you have enabled the what3words integration, use the imagery and copy on our Communications Hub to announce the partnership and educate your customers on the benefits of using what3words.
