Heidler Strichcode now accepts what3words addresses to be passed on to their multi-carrier shipping software HVS32, which is integrated with 300 carriers worldwide. It is used by companies that send between 100 and 200,000 packages and pallets per day.
Online retailers who use Heidler Strichcode’s software can now accept what3words addresses from consignees and pass them on to the respective carrier via the HVS32 system.
You can find further information on the partnership between Heidler Strichcode and what3words here: https://heidler-strichcode.de/heidler-strichcode-x-what3words/
Please consult with your Account Manager at Heidler Strichcode as to which HVS32 data field the what3words address shall be mapped to. This will depend on every retailer’s individual setup. The implementation should be easy and quick.
<aside> ⚠️ To collect what3words addresses from your customers, you’ll first need to add a what3words address field to your checkout page or CRM. To do so you can use one of our existing plugins or the what3words API. You can take a look at these options and find out more information here or read the section below.

In order to pass on what3words addresses to Heidler Strichcode, Heidler Strichcode customers need to capture what3words addresses from their customers, in the same way you capture and store traditional address information.
