Noggin’s integrated resilience workspace seamlessly unifies operational risk management, operational resilience, business continuity management, security operations, crisis and incident management, and emergency management.

Noggin is now integrated with what3words, enabling users to easily record and share the precise location of any disruption using what3words. This enhancement empowers their users to address disruptions more effectively and efficiently. Follow the steps below to get set up with what3words in Noggin.

Getting started with what3words in Noggin

Step 1

Get a what3words API key

  1. Go to our plan page and select a plan. You will need to select Basic or higher for this integration.
  2. Login or signup for a what3words developer account.
  3. Specify the name of your business and “Noggin**”** in the Project Name.
  4. Select Generate API Key.
  5. Copy the generate API key and save it in a secure location.

Step 2

Configure what3words in Noggin

  1. Go to Noggin.
  2. In the Integrations center, go to what3words and select Set up.
  3. Enter the what3words API key.
  4. Select the language you want to use.
  5. Select Test Connection to check the connection between Noggin and what3words.
  6. Select ON to enable the connection.
  7. Select Save.

Users can now easily share the precise location of any disruption using what3words in Noggin and the Noggin mobile app.

How to use what3words in Noggin

Adding a location on a map using a what3words address in Noggin:

Step 1

Select Find an address, place, or what3words and enter the address.

Step 2

Select the required location from the list of search results. The location is marked on the map.

Step 3

Select Done.

Convert locations to what3words addresses in Noggin

You can configure workflows to convert locations to what3words addresses, using the Reverse geocode workflow node. This enables you to display the what3words address for any locations on forms, tables, maps, and more.
