RouteGenie is a carrier management platform from iForce, allowing access to multiple carriers. RouteGenie can accept what3words addresses from retailers and pass it onto carriers. The last mile of a parcel’s journey is crucial, so using a 3 word address can help carriers deliver to specific building entrances and precise drop-off points.

<aside> ⚠️ To collect what3words addresses from your customers, you’ll first need to add a what3words address field to your checkout page or CRM. To do so you can use one of our existing plugins or the what3words API. You can take a look at these options and find out more information here.

How to specify a what3words location on RouteGenie

For any OMS or WMS that accepts what3words addresses, this can be passed through into RouteGenie in the request. You can see below a small snippet of this request:
