Fan Shipping is a Shopify App, built by WebShopAssist. The app allows retailers to create shipping labels, packing slips and tracking for DHL Parcel UK, TNT Italy and FanCourier Romania.

WebShopAssist have now set up Fan Shipping to accept what3words addressed from Shopify retailers and pass this information on to DHL Parcel UK.

Integration Setup Guide

Step 1

To collect what3words addresses from your customers, you’ll first need to add a what3words address field to your Shopify checkout page. A step-by-step guide is available here.

Step 2

Once you’ve added the what3words Shopify plugin to your store, install Fan Shipping here. A full set up guide for the application can be found here.

Step 3

Any what3words address included at checkout will be automatically passed through to DHL Parcel UK, if this is the carrier of choice, via the Fan Shipping app.

🗣️ Announce the Integration

Once you have enabled the what3words integration, use the imagery and copy on our Communications Hub to announce the partnership and educate your customers on the benefits of using what3words.
